Calculating your Grade Point Average (GPA) is a structured three-step process that accounts for course weights via credit hours. Follow this guide:
- Step 1: Convert each letter grade to its equivalent GPA scale value (e.g. A = 4.0, B = 3.0, C = 2.0).
- Step 2: Calculate the Grade Points for each class by multiplying the grade value by the course credit hours.
- Step 3: Sum the grade points of all classes, and divide this sum by the total credit hours attempted.
