What is 2048?

2048 is a single-player sliding tile puzzle game created in March 2014 by Italian web developer Gabriele Cirulli, where players combine matching numbers to reach a tile valued at 2048.

How do you play 2048 game?

Use arrow keys, WASD, or swipes to slide all tiles on the grid in a given direction. When two tiles with the same number touch, they merge into one tile with their combined sum (e.g., 2 and 2 merge into 4, 4 and 4 into 8, and so on).

How to win 2048?

To win the game, merge matching tiles until you successfully create a single tile with the value 2048. The most reliable strategy is to lock your highest value tile in one of the corners (e.g., bottom-right) and build other tiles around it.

How to beat 2048?

Beat 2048 by keeping your grid clean and organized. Avoid moving tiles upwards (or whichever opposite direction moves your corner tile out of place) unless absolutely forced, and keep your tiles sorted in descending order of value leading towards your target corner.
